About Church

With the Vision to build a people of power and praise that will take the gospel of Christ to the whole world and the mission to create an atmosphere that will encourage everyone to worship God and fellowship with other believers from all over the world. New Heritage Baptist Church was planted on Saturday Jan. 7th, 2006 with the support of the mission department of the then Lagos State Baptist Conference, Rev. F . K Adebayo and others with dedication service conducted by Rev Ijaola Adelokoji of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Ejigbo and the first sunday service was held on Jan. 8th 2006
In the premises of Princess International School, Charity, Oshodi with twelve adults and four children in attendance.
As a result of aggressive outreach, evangelism, and youth centered programs the impact of the Church could felt in the environment resulting in very impressive turnout and attendance at prorams and worship services This soon attracted the owners of the property used for worship and being Muslims they objected to the use of the property for Church activities. After about 6months With the support of Irepodun Baptist Association who paid half of the rent, the church was able to secure a place in the next compound been also a School.
The church continues to find its place in impacting its community and in February 2008 New Heritage Baptist Church, Shomolu adopted the Church and have since played the
Of Mother Church . Upon adoption, the mother Church facilitated the relocation of the Church to
It present place of worship 12 Oyegunwa Street, Ladipo – Estate. Furthermore, the mother Church has sent several groups of missionaries to help strenthen the church, disciple members and prepare them for ministry and leadership position.
