We thank God for the journey so far and His protection over the Union for 25th years in existence.

OUR PURPOSE

We obeyed Jesus command as it was recorded in (Matt. 28:18-19) then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all Nations, Baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”.

On these statement many souls were won for CHRIST. HALLELUYAH!

OUR MISSION

To Evangelize and through these we touched every corner of Lagos, Ogun, Owerri, Ilemba Elete, Abule Tisa, Ijoko Ota, E.t.c.

We are in partnership with the mother body (Association) in the mission work at Dukawa, Kebbi State. Churches were built, up to roofing level, payment of three Pastors on the field, donation of benches to the churches. Roofing of the churches, Baptism for the new converts, digging of Wells for water supply.
Our younger ones between the periods have accepted the pastoral work now working in some of our Baptist churches in Lagos and other States for the Glory of God.

OUR ROYAL AMBASSADORS

From inception of the Irepodun Baptist Association, in 1990, the Boys Organization, Royal Ambassadors which cut across Oshodi environ to Ijeshatedo, Ebute meta, Abesan and Apapa, have in record the following sets of people has the presidents:

  1. 1 st     Amb. J.O Ogungbemi-First Baptist Church, Ijeshatedo.
  2. 2nd    Amb. Friday Eweremu-Estate Baptist Church, Abesan.
  3. 3rd    Amb. M.O.N Adesewo-First Baptist Church, Ijeshatedo.
  4. 4th     Amb. Yinka Akande-First Baptist Church, Oshodi.
  5. 5th     Amb. S.M Oloniyo-First Baptist Church, Sogunle.
  6. 6th     Amb. A.M Adeleke-First Baptist Church, Mafoluku.
  7. 7th     Amb. M.O.B Areo-Emmanuel Baptist Church, Orile-Oshodi.
  8. 8th     Amb. S. Adejumobi-First Baptist Church, Oshodi.
  9. 9th         Amb. Opeyemi Olagbenro – The Bible Baptist Church

 And the reign of directors had been from:

During the tenure of the 7th president and the 4th director, the first sets of patrons were inaugurated in 2012. While all ministers of the churches in the Association were inducted as Ambassadors in Chief.

The first camp of the organization was observed at Egbeda in 1991 ns now transient to renewal camp duly observed jointly with iliary. Our association key into a vision of organizing

RALY programme i.e Royal Ambassadors and Lydia Auxiliary having joint programme In the year 1998, which has extended to the conference and National level. In year 2006, the Girls Auxiliary joined the RALY which brought the emergence of RALYGA i.e Royal Ambassadors, Lydia Auxiliary and Girls Auxiliary. Later in 2008, the GA’s were pulled out considering the social effect. To the glory of God. the coming together of these organizations has been spiritually impacting and cut across all aspect of life.

The effort of our leaders cannot be over emphasized as we have members of the Association who have served at the conference level of the formal Lagos Baptist Conference before and now Lagos East Baptist Conference. These Ambassadors are: Amb. F.A.S Akinola. Amb. Solomon Ukawe, Amb. M.O.N Adesewo, Amb. Yinka Akande, Amb. Jibola Opawole, Amb. Ebenezer Akinlua, Amb. Sunday Adejumobi, Amb. Adeolu Adeleke, Amb. M.O.B Areo, Amb Opeyemi Olagbenro, Amb. Biodun Bamidele, Amb. Segun Agbana among others.

The association has duly been represented at the conference level to the national level in parade competitions, mission and evangelism work, and in Bible quiz competition. Amb. Job Oyebisi of First Baptis Church Mafoluku, Amb. Sunday Adejumobi of First Baptist Church, Oshodi, Amb. M.O.B. Areo of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Orile Oshodi and Amb. Timothy Adegoke have represented the conference in Bible Quiz and won trophies for the conference.

The efforts of some Ambassadors who has massively work for the growth of the Royal Ambassadors of the Association cannot be forgotten, people like Late Amb. Sunkanmi Adeogun, Pastor Amb. Segun Alabi, Amb. Oloyede and others to numerous to mention.
